ATHENS ALA. – Athens Main Street is proud to announce the 2018 Chocolate Walk is Saturday, February 3, 2018. You can fall in love with Downtown Athens, Ala while enjoying some sweet treats.

Ticket holders enjoy a chocolate treat, sweet deals, and a chance to win a door prize from each participating business during this prelude to Valentine’s Day.

Tickets went on sale today and are $5.00 each. They can be purchased online through Eventbrite or at the Athens Main Street office on Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. leading up to the event.

Athens Main Street Executive Director Melanie Newton said “The love of chocolate is a sweet spot for many.  Bring your significant other, make it a girlfriend outing, or a fun family afternoon. Come satisfy your sweet tooth and indulge in great shopping at the 2018 Chocolate Walk”

Tickets are limited to the first 200 walkers. Walkers will start at the Athens Main Street office, 107 N. Jefferson Street, and will be handed a walking map, a list of participating merchants, and a goodie bag from Athens Main Street.
