ATHENS, Ala. – Spring arrives early in downtown Athens as local clothing and gift boutiques prepare to welcome shoppers for the annual Boutique Crawl on March 7 and March 14, 2026. The two-day shopping celebration, presented by Dream Key Real Estate, will feature major specials, new spring merchandise, and sweet surprises throughout the historic downtown district.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate the arrival of spring with our downtown boutique owners,” said Athens Main Street Executive Director Tere Richardson. “This Boutique Crawl is a wonderful opportunity for our community to discover the unique shopping experiences that make downtown Athens special. Supporting these local businesses means investing in the heart of our city.”

Participating clothing boutiques will showcase their latest spring collections, featuring fresh styles and colors perfect for the new season. Gift shops will offer an array of new items ideal for refreshing homes after the long winter months.

$500 Shopping Spree Giveaway

Shoppers who make purchases of $25 or more at participating boutiques on either day of the event can enter for a chance to win a $500 Shopping Spree in downtown Athens. Entry links will be available at all participating merchant locations and on the Athens Main Street website. All receipts must be submitted by midnight on March 14, 2026. The winner will be announced shortly after the event and may redeem the prize at any participating Boutique Crawl business.

As an added festive touch, look for special Photo Card Signs by Yard Card Queen – Athens displayed throughout the downtown district during the event.
