12th Annual Sippin’ Cider Festival – December 10, 2022 – Downtown Athens
Athens Main Street has scheduled its annual cider festival for December 10, 2022, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Downtown merchants will be open late for shopping and dining. While shopping, patrons can sip on cider and vote for their favorite! Merchants are competing for the coveted Cider Cup and bragging rights for the year.
5 – 8 p.m. Free Carriage Rides will be offered, loading from the Jefferson Street side of the courthouse lawn.
4 – 8 p.m. Free S’mores for the kids sponsored by Athens Rotary Club. Come and warm by the fire, have complimentary s’mores, and listen to live holiday music on the Marion Street side of the courthouse lawn.
5 – 6 p.m. Lindsay Lane Christian Academy Performing Arts Group will be strolling downtown performing Christmas carols for shoppers. Guitarists from the group will also be performing at selected corners around the square.
5 – 6 p.m. Downtown with Devin & Things In Common Choir will be performing your holiday favorites in Merchants Alley (107 N. Jefferson Street)
6 – 7 p.m. The Athens High School & Middle School Choir will be forming on the Marion Street side of the courthouse steps.
