Patrons who visit downtown Athens can now enjoy music EVERY Friday this Fall in Merchants Alley.
The Athens Main Street Merchants Alley Happy Hour Music Series is back this Fall every Friday night from September 5, 2025, to October 31, 2025, in the alleyway on Jefferson Street from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. This will give patrons a great start to their weekend. A new performer will be allowed to perform various musical acts each Friday. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chair.
Patrons are encouraged to come early and shop at local merchants and grab a drink in an Entertainment District cup to enjoy at any of these downtown establishments: Athens Alehouse & Cellar, Limestone Legends Billiards, Village Pizza, Lucia’s Cocina Mexicana, Ro’s Grille, The Salty Cod, The Southern Table, Old Black Bear Brewing, Mozza Pizza, Studio 16 Cigar Lounge, Li’l Mazzara’s, Irons & Ales, or Wildwood Deli.
