Patrons can now sip on beer and wine at the new Athens Alehouse and Cellar in downtown Athens.

Ken and Lori Hill have opened the doors to their new business located at 111 W. Washington Street.

The current hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

According to the Alehouse’s Facebook page, they will offer on and off premise craft beer and wine with charcuterie boards, pretzel bites, and cheese curds. They have a self-serve tap system with six rotating options on draft. The Alehouse is already involved with organizations like Athens Main Street and the Greater Limestone County Chamber of Commerce and is ready to greet patrons.
