This Week at the Athens Saturday Market – July 6, 2019


Come and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere in our gathering spot while you listen to the music of Erik Smallwood from 8 a.m. – Noon. Let the kids make their own clay scene at our Kid’s Activity.  Stop by the Spud Truck for a breakfast biscuit and don’t forget BBQ from the Pig Time BBQ truck to take home. 

             

 


FROM OUR FARMS TO YOUR TABLES

PRODUCE

King Farm –  Brown eggs, squash, zucchini, beets, cucumbers, cabbage, blue lake green beans, brussel sprouts, sweet onions, okra, red tomatoes, bell pepper, USDA pork sausage (hot/mild), pork chops, bacon, tenderloins, andouille, sweet Italian sausage and ground pork. 

Reed Farm – produce and fresh flowers.

Sweet Grass Farm – Organically grown, pastured pork, fresh cut flowers, blueberries and blackberries.

Jennifer Beddingfield – Donkey milk soap, fresh eggs and pottery. 

Michael Craig – Blueberries.

Hines Family Farm – Squash, zucchini, red and green tomatoes, banana peppers, cabbage, jalapeños, bell peppers, okra-green and red, traditional and Japanese eggplant .

Henry Carter – Corn and other vegetables.

Peek Farms – USDA inspected burger patties, steaks, ground beef, brisket, short ribs. We will also have farm fresh eggs, cinnamon rolls, breads, muffins and cookies.

Reeder Bees – all natural, raw, local honey in a variety of sizes, including comb honey.

Geary Farms – Okra, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, squash.

Mark VerStraten – art (paintings, prints, photos and charm holders), quail and chicken eggs.

Karla Springer – blueberries and blackberries.

Recentered Roasters – Locally roasted bags of coffee, cold brew, pour overs, homemade bread and cookies.

The Homestead Pantry –  Amish friendship bread, poppyseed bread, zucchini bread, chow chow, salsa peach cobbler, cherry cobbler.
