Epiphany Boutique and Square Clock Coffee Announces Relocation in Historic Downtown Athens

ATHENS, Ala. – Athens Main Street is proud to announce today [Wednesday, November 11, 2020] the date for the grand reopening for Epiphany Boutique and Square Clock Coffee in downtown Athens.

Epiphany Boutique and Square Clock Coffee, owned and operated by mother and daughter duo Dawne and Jessica, are relocating to 100 South Jefferson Street. They will open to customers on Saturday, November 14, 2020. The first 10 customers who make a purchase will receive a gift bag, according to the Facebook event. Throughout the day, owner Dawne Douthit said they will be doing scratch-off discounts and gift cards for every other purchase while supplies last. The hours of operation on Saturday are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Douthit said they know women are looking for pieces to wear that are comfortable, affordable, but most of all make them feel beautiful. Douthit said a unique fact about the boutique is that the team travels to markets all over the country including Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta, and New York, and hunts for the best clothing items before they buy them. They hope their clients love each piece as much as they do.

Square Clock Coffee is a full-service coffee shop featuring espresso drinks, frappes, smoothies, along with sandwiches, soups, salads, and baked fresh daily coffee-house treats! The goal of Square Clock Coffee is to create a warm atmosphere with yummy things to brighten patrons’ day! Douthit says they get their beans freshly roasted on-site at O’Henry’s Coffee Roasters in Birmingham. The beans are delivered the next day so the coffee is never stale. The coffee shop also offers a variety of flavors. Douthit said that the baristas have been trained to make whatever coffee item patrons might need to get them through their day.

Athens Main Street Executive Director Tere Richardson welcomes this new addition to the west side of the square.

“Epiphany Boutique and Square Clock Coffee will be a welcome addition to the west side of the square,” said Richardson. “The beautiful historic building on the corner of Jefferson and Market is a fantastic location. The new location will provide ample parking that will make popping in for that morning cup of coffee, lunchtime sandwich, or special clothing selection a snap.”
